From Saturday 1st May, 2021 our practice fees will be increasing. This ensures that our Practice can continue to run as a safe and high quality service whilst ensuring increasing operating expenses are also met.
We will still continue to offer bulkbilling to children aged 10 years and younger during regular surgery hours from 8am Monday to Friday.
However we now have to charge all patients a fee if attending the treatment room for a procedure.
This will include children 5 to 10 years of age, but we still undertake to bulk bill children 10 years and under for all other consultations.
A list of the updated fees will be available via our website and notices throughout the surgery.
Thank you for your continued support.

*IMPORTANT SURGERY UPDATE RE COVID-19*
*IMPORTANT PATIENT MESSAGE RE. APPOINTMENTS* :
Radius is again offering screened face to face consultations. We require all patients to drive to the surgery for their scheduled appointment time.
We are still offering telehealth consultations if patients wish to use this option. Please be aware that a subsequent face to face consultation may be required from your GP. *Please be aware that if phone calls are not answered at the allocated appointment time, a non-attendance fee of $50 is applicable.
Due to Medicare guidelines to be eligible for a Telehealth consult rebate, you are required to have had a face to face consult with one of our GPs in the last 12 months. Therefore please book a ‘screened face to face’ consult if you have not seen one of our GPs in last 12 months when booking online. For assistance, please phone Reception on 3264 0800.
Any patients that have experienced any respiratory symptoms in the last 14 days are to be booked as a telehealth consultation initially in order to be triaged and assessed.

|Tues & Wed||8:00am – 6:00pm|
|Friday||7:30am – 5:00pm|
|Saturday||8:00am – 12noon|
Dear valued patients,
As we are not yet at the end of the coronavirus pandemic, Albany Hills Radius Medical Centre will continue to offer telehealth consultations for patients with respiratory symptoms until 31st March 2021. This is in addition to other appropriate reasons for a telehealth consultation.
As of the 1st October 2020, Medicare has amended the rules regarding Telehealth consultations; the government has recognised that the continued mandatory bulk billing of most patients for telehealth consultations is unsustainable for General Practices.
Please note from the 1st of October 2020, our standard fees will apply for your telehealth consultation and you will be entitled to a Medicare rebate if you have had a face-to-face consultation with one of our GP’s within the last 12 months.
When you are booked for a telehealth consultation, you are able to stay at home and await the Doctors phone call at the scheduled time. Our reception staff will contact you throughout the day to process payment over the phone.
Please be aware that if phone calls are not answered at the allocated appointment time, a non-attendance fee of $50 is applicable.
Telehealth appointments are not available on a Saturday.
Please refer to our scheduled of fees under FAQs tab.
*PLEASE DON’T IGNORE RESPIRATORY OR OTHER SYMPTOMS DURING THESE TIMES!*
Radius Medical Centre would like to let you know that we are currently running a safe Respiratory Examination Clinic each weekday. This is available to all our patients who have had an initial consultation with one of our Doctors. So we strongly advise that you don’t ignore any symptoms during these times. Please do not hesitate to book via HotDoc, our Website or by phoning Reception. We remain dedicated to keeping you safe throughout the entire COVID-19 challenge.
This is THE time to not ignore your routine and chronic health issues. At Albany Hills Radius Medical Centre, we are all keen to see you stay healthy and remain robust against any COVID-19 or Influenza threats. Our Doctors have cancelled their leave to ensure they are available to address these issues with you and we have plans in place to help you! Please call our Reception team or book an appointment online via our website.
Queensland Health is currently recommending that all patients wear a mask when visiting the Practice therefore where possible, we ask that patients wear their own masks. These standard precautions are required for all patients regardless of their known or presumed infectious status. Please also remember social distancing rules of 1.5m.
